Maritime - Messaging
Developing a positioning statement and identifying values
Requirement
ASV designs, builds, operates, leases and sells autonomous surface vessels in a rapidly growing and increasingly competitive maritime space. We were asked to help them to protect their market share and grow their business. Before undertaking focussed marketing activity we recommended the development messaging to help engage and inspire its audiences.
Plan
We designed and facilitated a one-day structured workshop in which the leadership team participated. An iterative process was used to develop a company positioning statement and identify values for ASV that the team felt would set it apart and position it for growth in to new defined sectors. We then took away the team’s work and applied interpreted the corporate statement into a compelling rationale that could be easily adapted for inclusion in day to day business conversations.
Outcome
“Lorraine and team helped us focus some very complex topics into a clear message and would recommend them”
