Defence - Event Publicity
Successfully engaging with the media at key industry events
Requirement
BMT Defence Services tasked us with providing BMT with exhibition support for, DSEI, the prestigious, world leading defence & security event, held in London. Recognising our skills and expertise in engaging with the media and requested our support to help further build relationships with key defence journalists.
Plan
The project delivered: pre-show attendance coverage secured in key trade press; Thought leadership feature placement and in-depth interviews with key journalists including: – Paul Elliot, Defence Contracts Bulletin – Dr Lee Willett, Jane’s Navy International – Richard Thomas, Unmanned Vehicles – Trevor Thomas, Australian Defence Business Review.
Outcome
“EC-PR always demonstrate a real understanding of the constraints we often face when looking to communicate with the media. They do this by thinking outside of the box and developing ideas based on their in-depth knowledge of what journalists want. The team has made excellent use of the relationships it has with the media to further the business interests of BMT.”
